How to Update the Blog

Step 1: Login to davissailingteam.com/administrator

Step 2: Click on "Add New Article"

Step 3: Title your entry, select homeBlog in the "Category" pulldown menu, enter in Publishing options

Step 4: Enter the Article, refer to note for adding pictures. Be sure to enter a signature at the end of the post. Working on a method that does it automatically.

Step 5: Hit "Save & Close" in the top right

Step 6: Login through the front end and observe the glory of your post

Note: How to add pictures

Step 1: Login to davissailingteam.com/administrator

Step 2: Navigate to "Media Manager"

Step 3: Navigate to the "Pictures" folder

Step 4:

a) if using a single picture, click "Choose File" and select the file from your documents.

b) if making a slide show, create a folder within "Pictures" with a specific name, navigate to that folder and upload                  your pictures to that folder

Step 5:

a) In your article, click on "Image" under the article box, choose your desired picture, select the allignment on the page and add a description and title if desired. Once entered select "Insert" on the top right portion of the window.

b) If uploading a slideshow, enter
Simple Picture Slideshow:
Could not find folder /home/content/90/8004390/html/sailingteam/images/PictureFolderHere
in the article where the slideshow is desired and replace "PictureFolderHere" with the name of the folder with the desired pictures. Note, you have to list the previous folders in the functional call, i.e. you would have to enter "pictures/TurkeyShoot/IncriminatingPartyPics" instead of just "IncriminatingPartyPics"

Step 5: Hit "Save&Close" in the top right of the page and the article should be posted.
